Center for Relativistic Laser Science (CoReLS) of Institute for Basic Science (IBS) operates a PW laser facility for the exploration of high field physics, laboratory astrophysics, nuclear photonics and attosecond science. The current CoReLS laser facility includes

20 fs, 4 PW and 1 PW laser beamlines at 0.1 Hz,
25 fs, 150 TW laser beamline at 5 Hz

CoReLS pursues laser-driven electron/proton acceleration and gamma-ray generation from Compton backscattering, along with the investigations on astrophysical phenomena and strong field quantum electrodynamic processes.
